Cerazette supply problem

I picked up a repeat prescription for Cerazette this morning but the chemistdidn't have any because apparently there is a manufacturing problem. I tracked some down at another chemist eventually but thought I would give people a heads up. See here for more details.

I got the last 2 packs from my local chemist the other day and the woman did say they were getting them in sporadically - glad I am ok for the next 6 months!

Oh shit.

It seems I'm due to run out on Boxing Day so thanks Woodland.

Will have to try to stock up next week. Am considering changing them anyway but may wait until after my operation

Went to FPC today. Last pack of Cerazette given out before I arrived and none in any local chemists apparently. Not expecting any supplies anywhere before Jan/Feb.

Am therefore about to try Micronor, am hoping it is better for my libido

micronor gave me fortnightly periods which was an effective contraceptive in itself!

Am not taking it for contraception but the idea is to reduce the amount of cycles

Many thanks for the tip. I REALLY don't want to have to change pills or have a gap when I have found one to suit me. I 'phoned my surgery and drove through the snow today to pick up their last packet, what a relief (though I feel a bit guilty!)..
