do i have shingles?
Sore throat, achey joints, lathargic, tingly face, red rash over eyes nose and neck.
DS 9 months has chicken pox.

there is not much they can do I'm afraid. Get something for the rash from the chemist and some pain killers for yourself. Dd had shingles in the summer holidays and it started under one arm with a rash there which spread around to the back. Wasn't nice, I hope you haven't got it.

TBH it doesnt sound like shingles, from what you say about the rash.

The thing is, if it's shingles and you catch it early, anti-virals can really help. So maybe going to the dr isn't such a bad idea.

DH had shingles and the pain was like hot neuralgia (in his case, on one side of his neck). He didn't know what it was but knew something was up iyswim, and it was painful and odd enough for him to find a doctor abroad.

If it is just one side it could be shingles - the impression that I had from your OP was that it was on both sides.
