breakthrough bleeding - how long is normal?

am having some breakthrough bleeding whilst on the pill, and it's been well over 20 days now (it's very light though) and am beginning to wonder if it's abnormal and if i should see a Dr.

Can anyone tell me if it's normal and if it will end soon or if I should quickly see a Dr?
