Can anyone recommend exercise equipment

I already do quite a bit of running but now I'm past 40 I could really do with some toning exercises. With 3 small children I can't easily get to the gym so wondered has anyone found any home exercise equipment that really works?

yoga is great for toning and no equipment needed and the added bonus of calming you down - can recommend it

rebounder is very good as is a cross trainer. BUt I saw something with Colleen McLoughlin and a long stick which is supposed to be excellent - maybe in this week's Grazia

what's you're secret you skinnycow?

skinnycow · 21/09/2005 21:08

my secret is walking and rebounding and cross training Jools - not that you'd know it to look at my skinny (fat) belly

Can I ask what a rebounder is and what exercise you do on it?

Pilates! All you need is a yoga matt and a towel. Oh, and a DVD or video. You do it barefoot.

Windsor Pilates or Method Precision Toning work wonders. Great for the 'core' - abdomen and back.
