haemorrhoids already and I'm only 10 weeks. I CANNOT do another 7 months like this. Have had to buy a load of new knickers as was wearing thongs previously. Cream/ointment doesn't help at all. Any advice welcome!Blush

It's really important not to get constipated, so eat plenty of fibre, - dried apricots, prunes, wholemeal bread, vegetables and wholemeal cereals - and make sure you drink plenty of fluids (you need it esp. if you are having extra fibre).

If it doesn't clear up go to the doc. or nurse, they can give you something stronger and more effective than over the counter remedies. The joys of pregnancy eh? Hope you feel better soon. Smile

will it clear up on its own? Am not constipated & eat a big bowl of porridge every day with dried fruit. plus loads of liquid & my craving is spinach! the ointment I've got was on prescription from my GP Confused

Well it sounds as if you are doing all the right things - they tend to come and go IIRC (it's a while since I was pregnant!) - hopefully some one with a bit more recent knowledge will come along soon. Have you tried posting in pregnancy as well? Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.
