I have got gastritis again, I had it earlier this year took some omeprazole for a bit and it seemed to clear but has now come back worse than before. Anyone had experience of this? I had my gallbladder removed after my dd was born 4.6yrs ago and Im wondering if this is connected in some way......?

Yes I had it this year. I have my gallbladder though! I had it treated by a GP. However, I have a lifelong history of very acid stomach, and GERD (nothing major, but flares up and is annoying), and it gets worse when I'm stressed. I was VERY stressed when I got gastritis. So I sort of think of it as a stomach ulcer warning sign! Stopped the wine for a week and thatdid the trick. Good luck x

I get this now and again due to overproduction of stomach acid even though I take omeprazole every day stress and salty food are triggers for it.
