It's a lump on my upper eyelid. Started as a small painful lump then grew to about hte size of a frozen pea. I've had it on my eyelid for over a year. Quite large and unsightly but not painful.

I get quite down about it sometimes as it's noticeable and occasionally people comment on it. I know it's unimportant in the general scheme of things.

Today my eyes are itchy and red and there's a small lump on my other eyelid. I'm afraid there's another one forming. What can I do to get rid of them?

My son had 2 on his eyelids, luckily they gradually went but within a couple of months. Otherwise the Drs at the hospital wanted to remove them as they would start to affect his eye due to the pressure. Have u been to a specialist eye dept at a hospital?
Don't think there is any other way to get rid of them but minor surgery.

They do often just go as quickly as they came. I was recommended by a US doctor to gently massage the lump. Interesting enough they are not infectious apparently, but my ds, my dh and I had one each all at the same time, and they all went within a few weeks of each other......makes you wonder.
