How long for childbirth stitches to heal? 4m and mine are still twinging...

I have just started 'proper' exercise - 2nd night tonight, doing sit ups, press ups, jogging etc. and on the way home my stitches twinged. DS is just over 4m. Is it the scar tissue stretching? Is it ok? I cannot find much info at all. Thanks.

It took six months for mine to fully heal. I found that they twinged for me after I did 'proper' exercise too for that length of time. Apparently they just take longer to heal for some people than others.

Sorry for the bad news, but it was many years before mine stopped hurting.

O. Thanks! Is it ok to just keep pushing through the pain though? Blooming stitches, and today the SPD is creeping back :(

Nearly 3 years down the line mine don't hurt but they do occasionally pull IYSWIM. Things don't feel the same down there and I can sort of feel where I was sewn up if that makes sense!
