no whispering. You need total voice rest.

Avoid dairy.

It might take longer than one day to remedy itself.

Oh dear. I've been to GP as have lost voice, horrible cough and tight chest. Laryngitis, for me. Was told to rest voice as will take longer to heal if you try to talk. Hope whatever you needed to do this morning could wait!
