Coffee, IBS and the aftermath

Does anyone else find that if they drink coffee they get diarrhoea? I find that when I have a coffee (well say 1 out of 3 coffees) I get diarrhoea within 5 minutes of finishing it.

I also have no gallbladder and have IBS. I know it is a diuretic but really, 5 minutes!!

I do although its passage is not quite so speedy! Does it make any difference whether it is a coffee after a meal or on it's own?

Coffee gives me stomach ache and bloating and at some point diarrhoea and it is after almost every cup. The pain starts pretty quickly after the coffee but not the diarrhoea which takes longer. I steer clear of it now unless it is decaf which I only have about twice a year.

For some reason it is worse when I am tired which is just when you might need it too!

I know that certain types of bread, some coffee, some types of bacon and a couple of other unknown things set me off. It is within 5/10 minutes of eating it that I am off to the toilet!!!!
