Hi All,
I had ovarian surgery (Bilateral Salpingo Ooperectomy) in July which removed my left ovary and fallopian tube and took a cut from my right ovary. I count myself extremely fortunate to have had the surgery and to still be menstruating/fertile.
However; since the op. I have had the most awful PMS (all day nausea, tearfulness, irritability, bloating, severe depression) three days before my period. I can feel out of control with myself. Previously; PMS was something that I recognised as it happened; but not overly suffered with.
Is there anyone else out there who has had similar surgery that has been adversely affected by PMS. What has their GP/consultant said about it?
