Well tell them what happened and see how you get on. Work might take your mind off it for a bit. Were you hurt in accident?

honeybeetree · 05/11/2010 08:06

no not a scratch just slight muscle ake I know I was very lucky.

You are in physical shock. Tell your boss as they will be understanding and not want you to be working in this state. Take a few drops of Rescue Remedy available from Healthfood shops or chemists. We always keep a bottle in the car and one at home. If you can afford it go to a cranial osteopath or suchlike just to check you aren't out of alignment which would affect your mood too. If you can't, have a cup of tea with a good friend, talk about what happened and put your feet up even for half an hour and be kind to yourself.

Ditto wakeup. And its absolutely healthy and normal for you to be having an emotional reaction (very down, tearful etc) after a crash. We have to process the 'could have beens' as well as the 'but it didn't, and aren't I lucky'.

Hugs to you, take it easy.

went to work today and feel better for it... I work supporting a child and he had a fantastic day which cheered me up no end.
