Tonsillitis is like buses :(

Haven't had it since childhood (I didn't have tonsils out as the ENT said I'd still get normal throat infections) and now age 23 I've had it twice in 4 months. WTF?! is that normal, and is there anything I can do about it?

Sadly tonsilitis is like that. I havent had it for a year, but got it last week (which then infected DS1) Before that I could have it up to 5 times in a year, 3 times in a 8 week period. I was bordering being referred to ENT when I had this clear patch of a year.

I was advised gargling soluble aspirin at the sign of a sore throat and taking garlic capsules daily.
