i have got thrush yet agin after just getting rid of it.
The only thing i can think of is that me and dh have started using condoms over the last few months as i dont want to be on the pill anymore.

Im just wondering could this be contributing towards me keep getting thrush?

Has anyone else had experience of this, i would really appreciate any feedback as am getting quite desperate now having to keep shelling out for canseten etc.
thanks in advance

Has dh been treated for thrush as well? Because if he hasn't then the chances are he's got it and is just giving it back to you. Get him on the Canesten.

I have no useful advice but just to say that I started to get thrush after my third child was born. I had never really had it before that. The thrush would kick in mid-cycle, each month, and it drove me to distraction. The cannestan stuff helped temporarily then it would return. I eventually went back onto the pill for contraceptive reasons and the thrush has completely gone. Three years clear now. It was such a relief. I am now dreading coming off the pill because I know it will return again.

I thought I would tell you because my thrush was definitely caused by hormone changes to PH down below or so I think.

It could be the condoms, I had the same thing and it turned out I was allergic to them. I was recommended to use Avanti condoms (IIRC) but I didn't bother and went on the pill instead, and never had a problem again.
