What is wrong with me- is it simply flu?

I started with sickness and diarrhoea this morning which last until early this afternoon. I've had stabbing stomach pains all day and still having them occasionally.

I also feel achy all over like when you have flu- sore to the touch and I'm absolutely freezing and can't warm up but don't have any flu symptoms like runny nose, cough etc.

I'm so weak now but scared to eat. Typical for it to happen when dh's away.

and what should I try to eat? I was thinking of trying a banana?

Could it be food poisoning? I get the sweats with that and get the sypmtoms you described.

Can you think of any cuprits?

If you are not hungry I'd not eat anything until your body tells you too.

Thanks Giraffe, I can't think of anything I've had in the past 24 hours (other than coffee) that dd's haven't also had and they're both fine so I'd ruled out food poisoning.

Friends said there's a bug going around so it might be that- it's just unusual for me to get something before dd's do.
