Do you think I have PCOS?

I am makingan appointment tommorrow...I mam 38 with 2 DC's...always had irregular periods..no trouble conceving though...over the last year or so I have become bloated and periods are very unreliable, not on the pill we use condoms.

I have begun to get bad skin over the lat year too...doc said was acne though does not loo like any acne I have ever seen..I have two flat red patches which are sometimes raised and sometimes not...on either side of the bridge of my nose...they look nothing like the Lupus thing and I have no symptoms of that I dont think.

I have got a skin tag (i think) on my neck over the last year too...its red though...I have always been a bit on the hairy side...couple of chin hairs...but thats' been coming on for more than one year...not very overweight...maybe about 6 pounds?

So...do you think this sounds ike PCOS?

Could be - though when my PCOS isn't controlled by the pill the acne is very definitely acne. Your skin sounds more like rosacea to me ( I get that too, its quite different, don't know if its pcos related)

yes I thought it could be Rosacea too..I am fair.

6 lbs overweight not very much forPCOS( unless you exercise heaps)
No fertility problmes apparent.
Couple of chin hairs doesn't count as being hairy!! Show me the woman over 35 who doesn;t!

Personally I doubt it but GO mayorder scan to see if polycystic. But no definitive "cure" for PCOS so not sure it will get you far even if you are.
