Erm, sorry, but how many tampons you go through on the first day?

Since DD was born 21 months ago, my first/second day has been much heavier. Say, 1 regular Tampax every 2 hrs. Got my period last night and today I'm going through 1 tampon an hour! I should have gotten the greater absorbency, I know, but still, it seems like a lot.

Or is it normal(ish)?

sounds like me for last few years.

Hmm. Do you think it's something to do with hormones? I had a smear and an ultrasound recently for unrelated reasons and all was fine.

Hi there! I use Regular Tampax for day 4/5/6
Super Plus for first 2 days, plus Always pads especially at night- then Super for 3rd. I have a huge 'selection pack'! So I think you are pretty normal if there is such a thing! Go and buy some super plus asap Grin

Right, ok. Will do tomorrow. Haven't any pads for tonight Hmm. Towel? Nappy? Arrgh.

Mooncup.

That's your answer.

I was flooding with super plus tampons after about 2 hours on my heaviset days (days 2 and 3) The mooncup has made it much cleaner and more copeable.
