Anyone got it?
I have been in bed for 3 days feeling dreadful- thought it was just a cold but no, much worse. Temp, aches and pains and sweating.

Anyone else?

No, sorry, I haven't but I just wanted to say hi, and poor you.

I had swine flu last year and it was most unpleasant. I was put in isolation and given tamiflu (was on chemo at the time so they were being careful) but the nurse who drew the short straw and had to barrier nurse me said that the best thing for flu was complete rest even if you are totally bored by it. So milk it, girl!

I had something that felt just like that at the end of August. I also found it hard to breathe and had a cough - swine flu did cross my mind, but who knows.

Poor you, PP, I wish you better soon - and don't try to rush around too quickly afterwards: I did (was moving house literally 3 days after it started) and got so run down I've just had shingles! Lesson learnt...
