Toddler glasses

Hi - I've just found out that my 20 month old daughter needs glasses. I've always worn them so it's not unexpected but her sight has always seemed fine to me so was hoping she'd got her Dads good sight and not mine! Feel gutted. Anyway - any tips on how to get her to keep them on?

Some will wear very well (especially if it improves their vision (not always connected with the amount of prescription)).

Others won't.

Tips I've heard often focus round distraction and keeping the toddler occupied until they settle into the notion of it.

There are mechanical aids such as elasticated bands that can help hold the glasses on which you may find helpful as well.
