Crappy pelvic floor

Another near-miss getting to the loo in time for a wee. 6 weeks postnatal, doing my pelvic floor exercises religiously. When can I expect to be confident about avoiding the tenalady? Or is this it?

Hello. Poor you. I don't think there is an expected time. Everyone is different. I ended up having TVT surgery. But if it goes on too long have a word with your GP. I was referred to the urinary incontinence clinic - where they make sure you're doing the exercises properly. There are also various devices to make your pelvic floor work better - weights and things. There are many different treatments and help - but it's just a bit embarrassing to ask. Once in the system they're all very kind and understanding. One of the things the drs/nurses said to me is "why do people go on suffering and not get help - there's so much we can do". Sorry if I'm horrifying you - maybe yours is very slight but if not, do ask your GP.
