itchy ear

has anybody else had an ear that is REALLY itchy inside - just the one, not both. It comes and goes and the doctor can't see anything but it's driving me nuts

Could it be an allergy? - My DD has allergies which give her runny nose/eyes etc. but also very itchy inside ears. Might be worth trying an antihistamine.

I get recurring itchy ear-had an ear infection years ago and its never been the same since. Sorry that doesnt help much!

Mine also started after an ear infection 15 yrs ago and drives me INSANE. My GP told me I had eczema inside there but didn't give me any ideas of how to treat it.

I get this as one of the symptoms of hayfever in the summer. Try anti histamine.

I get this if I eat kiwi fruit.
