After listening to the GPs and dematologists and slathering this on for years of my teenage/adult life, I couldn't work out why my eczema was still so acute. Here's why....

My skin became almost addicted to aqueous cream and if I didn't moisturise within 30 mins, my skin would be tight and itchy and I'd start scratching again.

Hope this helps some of you/your children.

ds came out in rash first time I used it on him as a baby
I now realise it must be the SLS.
I am allergic to SLS as well but it tis very hard to avoid in shampoos,washing up liquid etc

Yeah I thought that goo was making my son's eczema worse and I stopped using it and it got better. I couldn't understand why everybody was recommending it. I wasn't surprised to read this this morning. I used the body shop hemp cream to clear it up and it worked really well.

I've never tried that valium - I'm always looking for new potions!!! Cold, damp weather never helps and mine is always worse when the leaves change in autumn.
