chest infection?

I suspect i've got a chest infection as I'm very wheezy at night and coughing up load of phlegm (sorry tmi). Is it worth trying to get an appt at my GP's? Especially as I won't get seen until next week unless I say its an emergency and I don't think a chest infection really is an emergency?

Dh is trying to get me to go as my chest hurts a bit today.

ok does anyone know what are the symptons for a chest infection as i'm now worrying I'm going to waste a doctors appt?

coughing up phlegm at night (horrible yucky green/yellow) sorry tmi

google it.much better 2 cough up flem etc.its the coughing that makes ur chest hurt.its also when u lay down at nite the stuff is laying on ur chest.might be better 2 get it checked out.may be a sinple case of anti boiotics.just 2 get rid of the infection>xx

cheers for that - been to doctors chest isn't too bad but i've also got a temperature which i didn't realise and my glands are up a lot - so i've now got antibiotics to take.
