Abdominal Pain

Has anyone had a pain in lower left abdomen. Had it on and off for a few months but now sore during the day and waking me every night. It's a grabbing type pain and very painful. Keeping me awake for a few hours every night for about a month now. Doctor sending me for ultrasound but a bit worried.

Poor you, Petal. I've had that kind of pain on/off at times, and in my case it turned out to be IBS.

Petal I have that pain regularly, I kept a diary but when it showed as worse before my period it was ruled as gyne [all ruled out by scans after 12 months] so am now being checked for IBS and diverticulitis, scans are fine really [think pregnancy scans] blood test
Can you keep a food diary and note if the pain is there or bad that can help.
