Has anybodys little one had the MMR and been TOTALLY fine afterwards??...like no temp, moaniness or anything?? My 1 year old daughter is due to have hers on Wed and its like I am just ASSUMING she will be really ill afterwards as lots of people seem to say this......its so scary.....

My boyfriend told me he read an article where loads of mums were saying that ever since their child had the MMR they were "never the same...a totally different child...constantly withdrawn and distant"..

I am so dreading it....

Any opinions?

All 4 of mine were fine as I said earlier. The only alternative seems to be risking your child getting one of the diseases itself which you definitely would not like so bite the bullet and go for it. The vast majority are fine you know.

Both of mine were fine an d my dd2 was very ill from measles.

both mine were absolutely fine, really surprised as dd very ill after 2nd baby imms, had to have 3rd imms in hospital. Absolutely fine with MMR

Both mine were fine after both their vaccinations. But if you're uneasy about it why don't you read up on non-vaxed children. A few of my online mates don't vax... and they seem to do fine

No effects whatsoever (2 children).

No probs whatsoever - my DS and my sister's 3.

Don't know of anyone who has had probs actually.

But my Mum contracted rubella years ago while pregant and the baby died - so I am very pro vax.
