Sorry I know this is a really stupid question but... Blush

do they go away by themselves or do you have to get them treated?

I am so embarrased to get them looked at (stupid I know - you'd think after childbirth nothing would embarrass me anymore), but they're really quite painful and makes wiping very difficult Blush

Am in denial and hoping if I ignore them they will just go

Use baby wipes.

They may go away- sometimes they bleed and then go down.

I go in a hot bath and push mine back in ( they are caused by a long term bowel condition).

If you can get one of those icepacks that goes into freezer boxes ( like a solid box) I put that on them at night (wrapped in a carrier) and they go right down and then I push them back in the morning.

However there can be complications so if they are lasting a while you should go and see a doctor.

Go to the chemist and get lactulose- this softens stools and makes it easier to go. It's a horrible sugary solution. Straining to go makes them worse.

Thank you so much for replying Simbacat

Glad to hear that they might go away on their own. Tried to push it back in, but it wasn't having any of it!
