Small dog bite - will he need a tetanus?

ds is 2 and my sister has him at the moment at a friends. He has been playing with their puppy and whilst playing wiht a ball the puppy has caught him near his eye with her teeth.

the cut isnt bad and he is fine apparently but is tetanus an issue?

Not if he has had his "triple" vaccination (diphtheria, whooping cough and tetanus).

Cut should be thoroughly cleaned, though and any sign of inflammation get him to A+E for some antibiotics.
