DVT...

DH at A&E with MIL as NHS direct advised after ringing them to ask for advice about her leg being swollen.

They've been there 6 hours and are yet to see a doctor.

Can anyone give me any info on it? What will happen if it is DVT?

of course there are other causes of leg swelling and it could be something else.

Thank you. She's recently had a op on her knee, so I think that makes her higher risk. I hope she gets seen soon.
