Did my back in last week and it is still painful

Also, have a nasty virus so have been popping pills for a week now

Is this ok? Don't want to bother my doctor asvi know I will recover in time

TIA

As long as you have no history of stomach ulcers, bleeding disorders you should be fine. It may be worth ensuring you always take after food or a glass of milk to protect your stomach.

It often takes a while for backs to settle down. Have you tried Deep Heat cream - smells fould and you only need a tiny bit but it warms the area really well and helps loosen up the muscles.

Do you know what you did to your back, have you already seen a Dr?

You can supplement Ibuprofen with paracetomol. - The first is an anti inflammatory and the second relieves the pain thus allowing you more freedom of movement and greater ability to get around.

Keep as mobile as you can which will only happen if you are pain free so try whatever helps. May be worth going to GP and asking for a physio referal if it is a continual problem.
