First period after coming off Depo injection?

Had the Depo injection 4 months ago. Wasnt really happy on it, so decided not to get another one after the 3 months.

My period started, but doesnt seem to have stopped.... its now into 11th day, and hasnt got any lighter. Previous to injection period was about 5 days.

How long is "normal" and when should I start and worry?

I'd give it another day or two then see if you can get a phone consultation with your GP, just to check.

I had totally the other problem. When I came off the injection after 4 years (4 blissful years of no periods!) it took several months before I bled at all.
