Gargle with hydrogenm peroxide solution - you will be better in 24 hours - tastes like licking a mangey foxes arse when the bacteria oxidises (you spit the foamy stuff out!) but hell it works so well - quicker and better for you than antibiotics and cheaper just don;t swallow it.
