Opticians question

I urgently need to have my eyes tested. I have an NHS exemption card that means i don't pay for prescriptions - does this mean i get free eye tests? Is this in all opticians? I can get in at either Boots or Specsavers tomorrow but literally have bus fare and that's all!

don't know where you are but in Scotland you get one free eye test every two years might be same for you,why not phone and ask.

With that card you are entitled to an NHS eye exam at least every 2yrs anywhere in the Uk.

It can be more frequent than that if required by a medical condition, diabetes for example.
