Tingly tip of nose

I know others have asked about this, but the suggested cause always seems to be stress. I don't think i'm stressed at all, i just have a maddeningly tingly tip of the nose. It's been going on for many days, and i've had it in the past but it's usually gone away more quickly than this. it's driving me crazy. Any clues? trapped nerve?

when I suffered this it was related to caffeine intake.

When I had less coffee it would happen, and then when I had a strong cup it would settle for a few hours.

I have greatly reduced my caffeine intake and I have not had it for months.

interesting. i have been monkeying with my caffeine intake recently. i had completely ditched all caffeine for about a year, and then in the last few weeks i've allowed it to creep back in, only about 4 cups a week but maybe that's the cause. hmm.
