Does anyone know if it's safe to have the seasonal flu jab when BF?

Thanks

Hi,

The centre for disease control has a handy table showing the recommendations for breastfeeding for a host of vaccines:

www.cdc.gov/breastfeeding/recommendations/vaccinations.htm

They recommend the use of inactivated virus vaccines, and have no restrictions for this.
If you have more questions you should speak to your GP really...

Thank you, that's really helpful!

Yes it is. Tell the nurse and get him / her to show you the in-pack leaflet which says OK for BF. I had mine when BF last year.
