Question about this year's flu vaccine

Is it correct that this year's flu vaccine contains not just H1N1 vaccine but the version of the H1N1 vaccine with the adjuvant? If so, would it be the same strength (adjuvant I mean) as in last year's Pandemrix?

I want to have the flu vaccine (I am asthmatic) and prefer for dd to have vaccine (privately) but am worried about the adjuvant. I had a bad temporary reaction to Pandemrix last year (paralysed on one side for 15 minutes, then slowly got better, after a few hours fine but very sore). Daughter only had first dose, had extremely high fever and paed thought it too risky to give second dose as he was worried he wouldn't be able to control the fever (generally higher after second dose compared with first dose). Paed and my GP thought our reactions were caused by the adjuvant not H1N1 as such.

Would there be anyway of procuring a flu vaccine (privately if necessary) without the adjuvant?

It may depend on what your PCT or hospital procures. Our hospital is providing the Sanofi Pasteur one, which will not contain either adjuvant or thiomersal.
