about blowing your nose...

I wonder if this happens to anyone else, if maybe it is possible that I simply do not know how to blow my nose properly (!!) or if there is something wrong with me!

When I have a cold if I blow my nose too hard I get really light headed, my ears get instantly blocked and my head feels like it's spinning.
If this happens I usually have to sit down and close my eyes for a while. Yesterday was so bad I thought I was going to faint and had to call for dh to come over (from upstairs).

Anyone?

No I get that too, it's cause of the fact that your ears nose and throat are all linked and when you have a cold that has blocked you all up inside and then you blow hard it forces air through and if it cant get through it tries to find another way. iyswim, anyway thats what i believe.
