vaginal bleeding when to worry

ok Need some advice please ,am trying not to think he worse but worried

My mum (58) has been havin trouble with vaginal bleeding she had a hysterectomy about 25 years ago and was radical one where they took the cervix as well but till the last few months has never had any bleeding

.She has emergency appoinment for a scan and gyne and thats within 2 weeks so Drs are obviously worried to am trying not to Panic but am aware that we could be possiably looking at Cancer of some kind

I didn't want your post to go unanswered roundthebend no real advice as I am not a doctor but sending my 2p's worth & best wishes.

It's good that she's been to the doctors and is getting this checked out, people are often too embarrassed to follow these things up. Good news too that she will be seen so quickly. There are lots of possible reasons for this to happen so try as much as you can to be positive, it could be nothing.

its just the fcat of having lost my dad to bladder Cancer almost 4 years ago when he was 58 and my mum has remarried and her now Mil has just been dx with lung cancer .The thought that it might well come in 3 and the dr must be thinking it to for her to be seen so fast

Sorry to hear that, there are lots of guidelines now where you do have to be seen in 2 weeks though, which obviously are to rule out more serious conditions.

This doesn't mean that your mum will have one. I hope it goes well for you both.
