Hi just looking for some advice on the above problem.

I slipped on a wet patch in a shop last Friday since then i have been to minor injuries and to my GP re this as my wrist / thumb is still painful. At minor injuries i was given a support for my wrist but when seen by GP they said not to wear it.

Finding everyday things difficult i.e. holding knife, openeing things etc

Does anyone have any tips ?

wear the support for strenuous activities but do not rely on it
try to ween yourself off it.. i know it will be painful and be careful not to stretch yourself and make it worse.

do gentle exercises like bending and straightening... again if it hurts stop but you will be able to build it up gentley... i know its fustrating to begin with but keep at it.

little and offen should do the trick

hope it feels better soon!
