Last night when I went to bed my legs were aching really bad, I woke up in the night and they were still aching and on waking this morning they still ache. Does anyone know what could cause this I haven't done anything like strenuous exercise.

Have you been kneeling down, sitting on your knees?...

luvlymum · 08/09/2005 15:49

No rummum, I haven't been kneeling down, its my whole legs that ache too especially the shins and calves, I really hope I'm not starting with flu as I've got a 7 month old baby to look after and we're going to a wedding on Saturday!!

Hi luvlymum,

Aching legs at night especially calves can be sign of lack of calcium, vit b12 or iron deficiency. I had it last month, put it down to body re adjusting to not breastfeeding anymore? trying to eat lots of greens! it is helping i must admit. But a little worried i might have got a few varicose veins coming too!
