Friend is going in to hospital next week and wants to know what she needs for one day in hospital. She is getting an anesthetic sp. so will be in bed to recover. Also she wants to know do you keep your underwear on or take it off. She is quite large up top.

In my hospital you take it off (whatever your op.) and they give you disposable pants and a gown to put on. She might want to take a light dressing gown and slippers so she can get up and go to the loo when she's recovering. Also a book/mag. to read.

It depends on what they are doing. Tell her to take a dressing gown and some slippers though (as Kurri says Smile) , oh and something to read.

Upper or lower? Some don't give the classy underpants so she may be safe. They will give her a gown though. She should be able to keep her bra on but it depends on the hospital.
I hope all goes well for her Smile

anything that needs an anesthetic will require the removal of ones bouldar holders..

'cos they need to attach the wires for the heart monitors etc etc.

any if they need to use the defribrilator you don't want bra wire shaped burns under your boobs.

She'll probably be able to keep her pants on though.

Thanks I'll pass it on.
