The last couple of months i have been leaking wee (embarrasing). It can happen at any time when i feel like i need the toilet or not, and quite often happens in the middle of the night.

I had a c section 8 months ago and did have a problem with my bladder after as my fallopian tube was adhered to my bladder from a previous section, and it had to be removed. After the section i could not feel the urge to pass urine even if my bladder was full for around 3 months, but i can feel it now, was ok for 3 months and then started leaking wee.

So what do i do now, is it worth the doctors as i am quite embarassed about it, or should i just resign myself to the fact and get some tena

You need to get yourself to the doctors, and don't even think about being embarrassed - they'll have seen it all before, it's their job, it's why they're there.

No, do not put up with it, you silly mare Smile!

And do not be embarrassed about it either. It is a very very common problem and there are loads of things that can be done about it.

Go see your GP, they may want to do an internal exam, get a urine sample from you and ask for a referral to a urologist or uro-gynaecologist. Believe me, they have seen it ALL before.

Sounds like you had a rough time after your section and there is no need to put up with this for the rest of your life without having it at least checked out.

Good luck Smile

Please just go to your GP about it. I'm sure it's easily fixed, and they see this stuff all the time. Your GP might not even have to examine you, just refer you on to a specialist. I find it preferable to show my bits to strangers than the GP I see most frequently and might even see at the supermarket! Go for it!

poor you. Wee problems are so common- don't be embarrassed.

It sound like over active bladder pssoibly caused by nerve damage after your op.This site is good www.cobfoundation.org but go and see your dr- there are tablets that can help such as Vesicare.

And do pelvic floor exercises.

Even if the docs find something for which an intervention is indicated, having a toned pelvic floor will help.

Once you've told your GP it gets much easier. If you do get referred to urinary clinic, they deal with this every day and certainly the ones I met were really kind and sympathetic. There are numerous treatment options - definitely don't suffer in silence - get treatment. Good luck.
