Hello, I'm Bitter and I have lost around two stone, have another 4 or 5 pounds to go.

Come for the healthy eating, stay for the chat. We do more of the latter than the former!

SAF - not at all, good question Smile

Children with Cleft's usually have weaker teeth. Not always in the correct position put from what I can see, as his gums are both complete, his teeth look like they are in the right place.

I think that it's a combination of the cold and the teething and the huge lack of sleep that's going on!!

Double - I'm not going to mention or think about it for a while. Good idea from TC. I'm utterly petrified and completely bonkers. Blush

Bitter - don't force food down, just see how you get on. I'd grab something like slimfast if you can't eat solid foods. Maybe sippping and ice cold milkshake drink will help?

At least they have some nutritional (sp?) value in.

TotalChaos · 29/09/2010 15:59

Mousey - you are tired and poorly, it's understandable that you feel a bit overwhelmed. But if you can take Nemo to hospital appointments in various towns, then you can do London.

now - is it a London phobia, or a travel to unfamiliar places phobia. we can help - SAF has kindly offered her physical presence, I can help with journey/activity planning.

Mouseface · 29/09/2010 15:59

'but' and 'an'

Any more?

TotalChaos · 29/09/2010 16:00

teething must be quite seriously shit, given the gyp I've had from my non-come through wisdom teeth over the years..

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 29/09/2010 16:03

I get through a couple ogf pints of milk a day in tea and have been drinking fruitjuice - I'll be fine xx

We will sort out London Mouse, don't worry x

TC - it's a new place thing. And normally MrM is with me so I rely on him to get me there and back.

Which is bloody pathetic seeing as though I have been on holiday on my own in years gone by!

I have been all over the world and never once had feelings anywhere near to this.

I feel very stupid and without being rude, wish I hadn't said anything because of just how stupid it sounds out loud.

Sorry. I love you all for trying to help me. I really appreciate it.

Smile
TotalChaos · 29/09/2010 16:31

Sorry Mousey, I didn't mean to upset you by prying or forcing you into opening up. I think it is a valuable exercise though (from my own experiences with OCD/germ phobia) writing down your fear - not necessarily on the internet thouhg - as realising that it doesn't make sense is a useful first step to dealing with it.

YouKnowNothingoftheCrunch · 29/09/2010 16:36

I understand mouse :). You don't have to explain anything to us xxx

Mouseface · 29/09/2010 16:37

TC - it's cool. Smile

You all talk sense and I know you are all helping. I will talk to the doc about this next week. I hadn't realised just how bad this had gotten.

Mouseface · 29/09/2010 16:38

Thanks UNO xx

Nice to have you around so much! How's the job?

mittz · 29/09/2010 16:41

But you are not stupid Mouse, any more than any one else with a fear is stupid.x

It's still going well thanks for asking :)

Can I have a quick mil rant?

Well I'm going to anyway!

Poor dh! Why are his family so ridiculously cold! She sent him a letter with something he'd left behind, it's completely demanding and cold. No "how are you" or "hope you're ok" or anything about him at all.

He wouldn't be half as ill as he is if they showed an ounce of care or compassion for him Angry

I can't say this to him because he just gets defensive, but they're so bloody cold! The more he told them about his mh issues the more they backed off and left him to it :(. And of course made me the bad guy for not being supportive enough while he was ill too. I know they slagged me off to the rest of the family. I don't think I'll ever really forgive them tbh.

Argh!

Rant over :)
