Urgent question re: immunisations.

Ds will be 13 months on Saturday. He has received an appointment for his MMR and the combined diptheria,tetanus,whooping cough, polio and hib jab for tomorrow. After much deliberation we have decided not to go ahead with the MMR and to have the single jabs instead. My question is Is it right that they have the combined dipteria, polio etc jab at this age. He received the new mercury free one at 8,12 and 16 weeks and I was told that he would receive a booster when he was free. I have also checked the NHS 0-5 book and that also says it is given at 2, 3 and 4 months and then again when they are 3. Has anyone else been invited to have one at 13 months?

I think ds had a booster with his pre-school MMR booster (age 4) - I wonder if that is the confusion?

Right, I wonder if they have invited him by mistake then?

Aaaargh!!! Just phoned the doctors surgery, ds's record shows that he is not due the jab until he is 3 but there is no-one there at the moment that can tell me whether it is a mistake or whether I should go tomorrow. Phoned NHS direct to see if they had a record of the correct age to vaccinate, she asked me a load of questions, such as do I have ds's permission to speak on his behalf, considering he is 13 months old, a bit of stupid question don't you think? She asked me what symptoms he has?! She said someone will ring me back in the next 4 hours but I should take him to a doctor if his condition changes!! Did she listen to a word I said????
