My snozz bone is tumescent!

I had a lump up my nose - still do actually. Antibiotics didn't cure it. GP unconcerned about it. But now all the bones under my nose have swollen up (according to GP I just know it hurts) and I have to snort steroids for two months.

I am hoping someone can tell me they have had this before and it went away very quickly.

Or at least make me see that this is funny and not just a huge pain in the arse snozz?

'snort steriods'

I'm sorry but that is hysterically funny

is it a white powder?
can you go out and do it in the pub or something

or infront of someone important

sorry for being unsympathetic and horrible Blush

It's a thing you have to put up your nose and squeeze and it sprays the drugs up there.

Actually, in that respect it is funny.

Other than the lump in my nose is quite big and I got it stuck up there the other day and it was very ouchy to pull out.

ouch thats not funny
do they know what it is??

remind me of when ross has a lump on his bum and they are relectant to remove it without knowing what it is Grin

No idea. It's probably an allergic reaction which has gone wrong. Have had a few of them this year. Hmm

can they not just slice it off?

sounds scary to have a huge lump in your nose now I've thought about it

whomovedmychocolate · 24/09/2010 22:42

No, apparently not because it's a lump created by the swollen bits between the bones - so really it doesn't exist without the underlying swelling. Ah I don't understand it. Something to do with cavities and pressure.

It'll probably get better in a few weeks I just hate snorting these bloody drugs all the time. Esp. as they drip out afterwards and I look like a cokehead!
