Back Problems - any Osteos/Physios out there?

I have had a few back problems (diagnosed as sciatica, always goes down left leg) over the years. It normally clears up with a few inflamatories and being careful. GP has never been very interested. During the summer, it started up again and since then it has been going through a pattern of being very painful, improving slowly, then I do something that sets it off again. Doing a few gentle back exercises has definitely helped but today it triggered it just getting up from kneeling down getting the washing out of the machine. Not sure there is any point in going back to the GP but I don't know what I should be doing. Would an osteopath be best or a physio, or anything else?

I have had back problems for years. Saw physio, no improvement. Took lots of pain killers but couldn't live properly.

My mother was even worse and in lots of pain and had been since giving birth to me. She started seeing a chiropractor. She has been seeing him now for a couple of years and lives completely pain free.

I've been seeing mine for a year and it's the best thing I ever did. It's not a short term thing and it can be pricey but I saw it as a priority.

FYI it costs me £22 a session and I started off having one a week. I now have one a month.
