advice lost milk teeth in accident

Ds aged 4.5 knock three front top milk teeth out - whilst on his scooter yesterday pm, we did find them(luckly neighbour paramadic heard and gave help tried to get one of the tooth back in, spent the evening at A & E on her advice)

Result no teeth
1 Ds has speech problems will this make it any worse (Ds difficult to understand at times)
2 will not eat coco pops had to give porridge for tea and b'fast, and suggestions on what to do him for lunch to help him start eating properly of do I wait a days or so.

Poor ds. I'd feed him porridge until he feels better, it must be sore and weird having no front teeth.

Hi Mumbee - I lost 3 of my front teeth in an accident when I was 2. My dentist made a plate of 3 false baby teeth (I still have them ) so it might be worth asking about this. Unfortunately during my accident my baby teeth knocked my big teeth that were still in the gums and broke the root so I've had loads of dental work done because of this - root canal, crowns etc..

Thank you bubblerock for the advice about the dentist will organise that this week. Tough though having to go through all that pain for a simple accident and dentist are the pits at the best of times.

Yep - I must admit I haven't been for ages, I've had enough to last a lifetime!! My Mum takes DS to hers

Hopefully he won't be getting big ones through just yet but another year or so he will and big ones will be safeand just havea plate for a year.
