Hi,
for nearly two weeks I have had a pain in my right breast - burning bruised sort of pain, very tender if there's any pressure. Been to doc who thinks it is not in the breast but on the margins of the breast and more likely to be muscular inflammation. No lumps or bumps or enlarged lymphs and no sign of any odd skin, redness etc. All looks and feels completely normal but this hot pain feels as though it's expanding. It is more down the side of my right rib cage where the breast and ribs meet and going towards my under arm but no pain in my armpit itself. I did have bronchitis and pulled a muscle coughing a couple of weeks ago but this is hot and burny, not like any muscle pain IO've had before.
Doc wants a review in two weeks but am so worried I have booked a private mammogram for Thurs. I have done the stupid thing of looking at Google and discovering inflammatory breast cancer - v rare but people do get it so at least I am seeing a consultant this week. But int he meantime I have no symptoms except very sore hot ribs - hard to tell if its breast tissue or just the bones underlying it. OTher that that I feel very well with normal energy levels etc. Any ideas?
