Blood pressure problem

Just been to my regional heart unit for an exercise test and been told that i have something wrong with my heart.
I play lots of badminton and have never smoked and eat really healthily although cholesterol a bit raised at 6.

I did 11 minutes on the treadmill with the angle increasing as if you were walking uphill, because i recently struggled walking up a hill with some friends who are definitely NOT fit. I had to stop half way up as i was out of breath and my legs felt really heavy. Apparently my body is not registering that my blood pressure has gone up with exercise and it is just increasing. The guy in charge sauid he was on the brink of stopping the test as i was on the top limit of potentially dangerus for blood pressure with exercise.
Has this happened to anyone else.

BTW I also have a permanent cough too.
