Have you tried cooled boiled water with salt ?

Brolene is normally quite good.

The drops sting like buggery.

DS 4(nt) had a really bad eye a few weeks ago and the only way could get it into his eye the first few times was to put him in his car seat, pull the strap tight and launch with the ointment.

He was not impressed.
