Piles...Dr or not?

Well, I assume it's piles - felt a large pea sized lump there this morning, its uncomfortable and is sore when wiping.
So what, if anything, do I need to do? Will it go by itself?
Bloody thing - I'm really annoyed with my arse actually, pg and birth and no piles, its not even as if i've been constipated or anything...bloody thing.

Could be a skin tag? Sometimes they go on their own. I know it's embarrassing, but I'd go to the GP if you can.

What will the gp actually do though? I had hoped it would just go away of its own accord...

Just look, and if it's piles, suggest pile cream, or if it's bad and really bothering you (which it doesn't sound like it is yet), they can tie it and it will fall off. But pile cream should shrink little ones.
